Job Description: Quality Assurance Specialist

Core Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports for various applications based on business requirements
- Develop test automation scripts
- Must be familiar with API test automation with tools
- Perform test automation using tools like Selenium, Xray
- Perform functional testing on various business components, modules and functionalities
- Perform other testing aspects such as system testing, regression testing, integration testing
- Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
- Review and analyze user requirement documents in tools such as Confluence
- Identify and facilitate issue resolution with functional and technical groups
- Document the entire quality assurance testing process in test management tools such as Adaptivist, Jira and communicate the test results to the team constantly
- Work with other functional Testers and non-functional testers and collaborate with project manager, developers, business analysts and representatives from business units throughout the testing process
- Participate in the user stories review meeting, project sync up meeting and other meetings as required
Requirements:
- Clearance: MUST be fully adjudicated & maintain a Top Security clearance.
- Experience working with tools such as Confluence and test management tools
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Unix and SQL experience
- Excellent communication skills. Must be attentive to detail, highly organized, and able to multi-task
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality assurance life cycle and testing methodologies
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a highly demanding environment
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 2+ years of Software Testing experience with strong background and proven expertise in functional testing
