Job Description: Database Management Specialist

**Multiple positions available with varying experience/skill level

Core Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively to design data architecture  
• Conduct data modeling and query development 
• Create and modify ETL 
• Perform medium to complex analysis, system development activities.  
• Develop subject matter expertise  
• Provide writing assignment support for business development activities as directed 
• Strong analytical, communication skills and attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Solid understanding of systems development and input/output and process modeling 
• Experience working with and supporting Agile development team and DevOps environments 
• Understanding and experience developing and maintaining physical data model and logical data modeling 
• Technical expertise should include data models, database design and query development and query performance analysis and optimization 
• Solid understanding on relational database concepts and architecture (Oracle preferred) 
• Experience using data model tools such as ER Win/ Oracle SQLModeler etc.  
• Experience in preparing and maintaining master data, data mapping document and DDL deployment   
• Proven ability to quickly learn and new technologies and developing subject matter expertise 
• Proficient in Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project and SharePoint 
• Experience supporting testing database applications and defect tracking and closure  
• Experience in development of ETL processes and performance administration 

Requirements:

• Clearance: MUST be fully adjudicated & maintain a Top Security clearance.

• 3+ years of data warehousing experience, PowerShell scripting, SQL Server Clustering 
• Experience in SQL server DB administration, integration services and analysis services 
• Security+ Certification 
• Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with decisions on new systems. 
• Generating reports from single or multiple systems. 
• Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing. 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education 
• 3+ years of experience
